STORYTELLING PRODUCTION

The RI Art Archive Project series began as documentary film features highlighting the arts, culture, and humanities around New England. It grew out of a concern that the works and ideas of individuals in artist communities often go undocumented and their histories are unrecorded without intervention. These films brought artists, activists, museums, and community projects into dialogue with one another, while focusing on the design history and arts activation within the region. Access to these films expanded through statewide community screenings and panel discussions, featured exhibitions, public programming, and broadcasting on public television stations RIPBS and WGBH.
