THINKERS + MAKERS | CREATIVE COMMUNITIES ON FILM

The stories of the individuals who choose to live in Rhode Island believe in transformation through intellectual access and the benefits of the cultural landscape, stewardship and curiosity, something found in the very fiber of the State’s creation. Juxtaposing dialogues amongst this diverse community will exemplify why Rhode Island attracts an international community to build their dreams here, expand the concept of how creative economies grow, and continue to lead the world in global ideas and innovation.

Rhode Island has always been a groundbreaking epicenter for arts and culture, an attraction for entrepreneurs, scholars, and businesses creating new economies and calling this their home. Created in 2012, The RI Art Archive Project became a rotating documentary film collaborative focused on telling Rhode Island stories, its cultural significance and its creative economy. The stories woven into each film showcase how Rhode Island is a catalyst where ideas and innovation finds a place to grow and expand, with stories that cross cultures, religions and generations.
